*Born in France, 24th of Sivan, 5731
*Aliyah to Israel at the age of one
*Raised in the neighborhood of Greater Sanhedria, Jerusalem
*Educated at Bnei Akiva, Shanra division
*Studied at Himmelfarb and Hartman High Schools in Jerusalem
*Studied at Ba’ale advance army preparation, semester Bet
*Recruited into Israel's top commando unit, Sayeret Matkal in the year 5750
*During his service completed a degree in law
*Worked for the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet)
*Returned to serve in his Unit, swiftly advanced in rank, and reached the rank of Lieutenant Colonel
*Killed in combat operations in the Ba’albek area of Lebanon on the 25th of Av, 5766 Parashat “Re’eh” on the holy Sabbath at 1:30am in the morning.
*Thousands of friends, soldiers and officers went up to Mount Herzl, and stood in silence to impart their final respects. The funeral was carried out in the still of the night to honor a holy fighter who passed as he lived, modestly and humbly.
